Psychotherapy using essential oils: more effective
Using essential oils during psychotherapy

Psychotherapy becomes more effective when combined with essential oils
Psychotherapy is a widely used and effective treatment method. It's a deep dive into the subconscious and a search within the brain for patterns, problems, or disturbances. When combined with essential oils, psychotherapy becomes much more effective, leading to better results. Since there's not enough information available on this topic, it's time to shed some light on it, as it might be exactly what you need to help with your problems.
What do essential oils do?
Essential oils often have a lovely scent, but that's not all they do. They are used in many ancient healing practices because they influence the limbic system in the brain—the part that regulates emotions and memories. This is precisely why essential oils are used, as their effect aligns perfectly with the goal of many therapeutic treatments.
The use of essential oils can happen in different ways. They can be inhaled, which activates the limbic system as quickly as possible. They can also be absorbed through the skin, often during a massage, to perform their healing work. In a holistic approach, essential oils are used in other ways as well, primarily to promote mental and physical well-being.
Different essential oils, each with its own effect
There are various essential oils that can be used with psychotherapy. The complete list is too long to include here, but to give you an idea, I've selected a few. Lavender oil, for example, is well-known for helping with stress, sleep issues, and anxiety. Chamomile oil falls into the same category but also provides a sense of calm.
Ylang-ylang is less common and is used to dampen feelings of anger, a purpose also served by nutmeg oil. Bergamot oil is another lesser-known oil that provides an uplifting feeling and reduces anxiety and worry.
It's crucial that the correct essential oils are used based on the specific problems that need to be processed or addressed. With my knowledge of essential oils and their effects, this is no problem. Once we have a treatment plan, I'll make sure the right oils are used to enhance the effect of psychotherapy. I also offer other treatments that incorporate these oils. Aromatherapy: used for centuries
Aromatherapy, or the use of essential oils, has been used for centuries. By using the knowledge gained over this period, I can always find the right oil for each treatment. Combining ancient healing methods with Western treatments almost always leads to the best results.
